Brasserie Irma was opened in July 2020 on the periphery of Lake Annecy. Our wish is to offer you a joyful moment in beige and blue colored restaurant, with soothing and reassuring tones. Enjoy a culinary journey where you can also stop by our fine grocery store and discover Paul Bocuse products.
On sunny days, you can enjoy the beautiful and large patio of our restaurant in Annecy to gather with friends or family for a gourmet lunch or dinner. The breathtaking view on the lake is the promise of an out of time moment.
Located in Annecy, this restaurant is an unmissable and historical place for the family of Monsieur Paul, since it is where Irma, the mother of Paul Bocuse, was born and raised.
A gourmet cuisine by the lake
Indulge yourself for a moment by tasting the dishes created by Chef Aupetit and his brigade in our restaurant by the Lake Annecy. Our teams create dishes with fresh and local products which are promoted and inspired for each recipe fish from the lake wines from Savoy... Fishes from the lake, wines from the Savoy and all the other fresh and local products are the inspiration of our chefs as they create the dishes making them refreshingly and mesmerizing.
The Chef's suggestions? The pike quenelle and the Milanese veal along with a famous dish gratin from Lyon.
The Chef of the Irma Brasserie
Chef Aupetit, a native of Moulins (France), decided to work in the restaurant business after seeing his uncle cook. The Chef graduated with a CAP, BEP and a professional baccalaureate in the hotel and restaurant industry in order to work in this field.
For five years, the Chef was in charge of his own brasserie. He then gained experience at several traditional restaurants and brasseries, including a Michelin-starred restaurant and the Des Cours restaurant in Moulins.
Several years later, the Chef launched a new challenge by setting up his second business with a friend. A project that lasted seven years. Finally, the Chef joined the Bocuse group in 2018 as sous-chef at the Brasserie des Lumières alongside Jérôme Bernigaud. In 2020, the Chef joined the Brasserie L'Est in Lyon 6 to be sous chef. A few years later, the Chef left Lyon to conquer the city of Annecy. In February 2022, Chef Aupetit was nominated by our Chefs Meilleurs Ouvriers de France as Chef at Brasserie Irma.
To enjoy an unforgettable moment at Brasserie Irma, the manager Yvan Charvet and his team welcome you all year long with enthusiasm. Being the masters of the place, they provide a smooth and effective service and make sure that you spend a great time. Our brigade in the kitchen cares to replicate the atmosphere of the region in each of their dishes in order to carry you beyond time.
