The Brasserie L'Est takes you in the ambiance of the old Brotteaux train station, with its outstanding architecture full of history. This elegant station was designed to connect the Paris-Marseille and Lyon-Geneva lines before being classified as a historical monument in 1982.

Years later, situated on the Place Jules Ferry and close to the Part-Dieu, the Brasserie L'Est settled in this monument of Lyon. The chef of the Brasserie L'Est

Originally from the Lyon region, Chef Brice Clémenti followed a CAP (vocational training certificate) in cooking and completed his apprenticeship for two years at the traditional restaurant Le Capot in Caluire. He then joined the Bocuse group in 2006 as a commis de cuisine at the Brasserie L'Ouest until 2012. The next year, the Chef opened the Restaurant Fond Rose with Chef Olivier Bourrat.

Heremained at  Fond Rose Restaurant until 2015 as Chef de Partie before integrating in the Brasserie Le Nord as Sous Chef then as Junior Chef in 2016. In 2018, the Chef leaves the Bocuse group and sets out for new horizons.

He achieved several experiences in different restaurants in the Monts d'Or and in Lyon and then re-joined the Brasserie L'Est in 2022.

For the Chef, cooking is a synonym of memories: his youth as well as his grandmother's and his mother's cooking.
